Atelier Ferraro

Atelier Ferraro is an architecture and design studio based in Munich, specializing in the creation of architectural solutions and design objects for modern living. The studio was founded by Emanuele Ferraro, an architect who studied in Italy and Greece before relocating to Germany. In Germany, Ferraro collaborated with several renowned architectural firms, contributing to the design of large-scale buildings and interior furnishings. This experience deepened his passion for furniture and object design. He works closely with international galleries and companies, developing innovative design concepts across various disciplines. Ferraro's design work has garnered significant recognition. In 2022, his MAX 1.5° lounge chair received a special mention at the SaloneSatellite Award and was shortlisted for the Dezeen Awards. Architectural Digest in 2023 has recognized Ferraro as one of the rising talents in Italian design. In 2024, Atelier Ferraro was selected as one of the 100 designers featured in Italy: A New Collective Landscape, a traveling exhibition produced by the ADI Design Museum and curated by Angela Rui. The exhibition honors designers who are addressing the challenges of the contemporary world. In 2025, Ferraro received the prestigious German Design Award for his lamp FROM THE MOON.
